Dog Runs in Singapore To Give Your Pooch Some Exercise in 2017

Along with a great and safe diet, taking your dog out for walks and exercise is of utmost importance. Unfortunately, most areas/parks either disallow pets or are simply not conducive for your precious pets to roam freely off-leash unless you’re talking about dog cafes in Singapore. Only problem is, there are usually space constraints as well.

What is a dog run exactly?

Usually based within neighbourhoods and public parks, a dog run is a fenced-up play area dedicated to dogs, giving them the space to exercise and run freely. This keeps the dogs safe from the surroundings and also keeps out anyone that might be afraid of dogs.

Instead of pampering your dog with a dog boarding experience, it’s recommended you spend some quality time in the outdoors together. Here are 20 different dog run areas you can visit with your pup, so that it can enjoy the freedom to run around as much as he wants.

Bishan – Ang Mo Kio Park Dog Run

Ever been to this lovely park for a stroll to a leisurely meal at McDonald’s? Or maybe you might have had a ball of a time walking around the nice ponds that surround the location.

Turns out, it’s a great location to bring your dog for free-roaming exercise as well! The Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park Dog Run has two separate play areas: one for bigger dogs and one for smaller dogs.

The area boasts about 2,100 sqm of space for your dogs to run around freely and to play safely. That’s about one-and-a-half times larger than a hockey rink!

There are also water sources for dogs to get a drink or a good wash after a long day of play. The dog run is pretty popular so you can expect that your dog will have tons of socialisation opportunities with other dogs too!

With a large space, great amenities and other pets to interact with, make some time this weekend to bring your dog to this really nice dog run or get your dog sitter to take your dog out during the sitting period.
